Scripture Memorization 2010
January-February 2010 He then told them, "Watch out and be on guard against all greed because one's life is not in the abundance of his possessions." – Luke 12:15 (HCSB)March-April 2010 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. - I John 2:1-2 (KJV)
May-June 2010 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. – Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV)
July-August 2010 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore I will hope in him. – Lamentations 3:22-24 (KJV)
September-October 2010 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 19:14 (NKJV)
November-December 2010 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
Church Library
We have a growing church library intended to enrich your Christian walk. From Bible translations to commentaries and classics, there's a variety of options to augment your study of God's Word and walk with Him. The library is available for use during weekday office hours. Anita Marlowe maintains the collection should you need assistance.
Counseling Options
Seeking out support and encouragement from those trained in a Biblical worldview is not something to be ashamed of. Everyone has moments in life when the advice of a trained Christian counselor can mean a world of difference. Sylvia Tomberlin, a member of our church, offers such services through her ministry called Daily Life Counseling Centers. Click here for more information.
