The Malnutrition Center is gaining a reputation in and around the state of Sacatacpuez (spelling?) and the work of Florida Baptists has not gone unnoticed as the Gospel is shared in the most earnest of ways. Continue to pray for the 67 children being served. For the family who received a new home this week. For our lives in Christ as we continue our service to Him in our Jerusalem! Remember to check-out the more detailed Orphans' Heart blog linked above!

Brian and Brandon finished a two day construction project, building a house for a young family. Paula was with the two year olds where she has been faithfully serving all week. Sandi was with the babies again, and also made lunch for the workers, cooking up her Havana best. We gave each worker a reusable shopping bag from the Chapel Hill family...a special gift appreciated by all. Make sure to quiz Brandon who joined the Chapel Hill Ladder Caucus today by falling off one. He was not seriously injured but nearly lost an ear! *our very own Malchus... trying to get some sleep... later...

Sandy worked in the Canary room with infants. Paula tried to keep the toddlers penned in the Pollo room. Brandon led singing during the morning VBS with the older children. Brian did yard work and painting. The laundry room hummed all day long with our new washers and dryer hard at work. With an all day rain, the dryers kept everything moving. God has shown himself faithful in our travels, and we look forward to his leadership in our work, and the lives of the children and workers this week. (A number of the staff have, to date, made professions of faith in Christ since Christmas) Pray that this will be true of those still in need of a walk with God.
