In the Fall of 2005, a group of about 40 began meeting together in worship and Bible study with a vision to establish a new church in Tallahassee, Florida. Chapel Hill Baptist Church was the result of that vision and was organized in 2006.
Relocating to our current location on Chapel Drive near Florida State University, Chapel Hill now has an average worship attendance of 140 and a membership of nearly 130. Led by our pastor, Brian Mimbs, Chapel Hill Baptist Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ through the timeless Word of God.

As Southern Baptists, we share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world. As part of our effort to maximize our efforts individually, we cooperate collectively to evangelize our land and the world with the Gospel. In our state, we are affiliated with the Florida Baptist Convention. Locally, we accomplish this through the Florida Baptist Association.
